US student visa interview tips?
Tell the true and do not lie. Make sure you bring original I-20, TOEFL/GRE/GMAT scores, high school/college transcript, affidavit of support, evidence of financial support (sponsor’s bank statements/bank letter) to show how you will pay for your tuition fees and all expenses during your stay in US. You also need to proof that you intent to return to your home country after your study.
List of questions the Immigrant official might ask:
Which Universities did you apply to (both admits and rejects)?
Which university will you attend? Tell me about this university.
What are your TOEFL/GRE scores?
Why don’t you do this course in your country?
Why Study in USA?
Who is sponsoring you? How will you pay for your expenses/tuition fee?
Did you got Scholarships?
Have you got any Loans?
How many brothers and sisters do you have?
Have you ever been to US?
Do you have any relatives in USA?
Do you know anyone (in USA) in your University?
Do you know anyone in USA?
Are you intent to stay in USA after your study?
What will you do after completing your degree?
What will you do if your Visa is rejected?
