Donna asks…

Can i go take a US visa interview with my grandfather?

Can i go take a US visa interview with my grandfather? Because my father is a fireman and has no time to take the interview and my grandfather has time, my grandfather has a US visa valid for 10 years and he wants me to go with them for 1 month so i can see how beautiful america is but i am wondering if i can take a US visa interview if he is with me and not my father. My mother is working at japan as nurse so she cant go with me to in taking the interview. Thanks in advance.

Best Answer:

The parents must accompany their children when applying for a US visa. Anyway, seek the approval of the embassy if you really want your grandfather to accompany you for the interview.
